continues to pray for vocations to the priesthood and religious life using
the “Elijah Cup” as a way of focusing our attention. One family or group
is presented the Cup at Mass, takes it home, places it in a special place
and prays daily for vocations. This weekend, Lydia Méndez will
serve at the 7 pm Sat. Mass
Next
week, 9/4, Mary Anne & Jerry Sinex will take the cup at the same
Mass.
Please consider participating in
the Elijah Cup prayers.
Blessings are there - for
vocations and for you.

The
volunteers who work in this community outreach ministry are very
appreciative of the generous donations of food left in the gathering area
of the church. Special request: Please check the expirations
dates of the food items you give, It is very time consuming for the
volunteers to weed out the expired items and your help will make the
process much more efficient. Thank you for showing the love of Christ’s
Church through your sharing.
